The Circle Cinema in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will host its 22nd annual Oklahoma Jewish Film Festival from March 22 to March 29, 2026. The festival, a collaboration between Circle Cinema and the Jewish Federation of Tulsa, will showcase films exploring themes of Jewish identity and culture from around the world.
This year’s festival features six feature films spanning comedy, drama, documentary, and narrative cinema. Tickets are priced at $12 individually, with an all-festival pass available for $60, according to organizers.
The festival will open on March 22 with a screening of “The Cure for Hate,” a documentary following Tony McAleer, a former neo-Nazi leader who became an anti-hate activist. Following the screening, McAleer and filmmaker Peter Hutchinson will participate in an in-person discussion.
A special introduction to the March 25 screening of “One Big Happy Family” will be provided by Tulsa actor and comedian Josh Fadem, who appears in the film. On March 26, a pre-film reception featuring live Beatles music will precede a screening of “Midas Man,” a film about Brian Epstein, the manager of The Beatles.
“The Cure for Hate” focuses on McAleer’s journey to Auschwitz to confront the devastation of the Holocaust and his subsequent work as an anti-hate activist. The film examines the rise of fascism and the pathways into and out of extremism, according to festival organizers.
The Jewish Federation of Tulsa states the festival’s mission is to utilize storytelling to foster understanding and combat antisemitism and hatred, bringing together people of all faiths and backgrounds to explore the global Jewish experience.
