Iowa Clinic and MercyOne Expand Central Iowa Cancer Care Through New Partnership
Des Moines, IA – The iowa Clinic and MercyOne announced agreements today, September 10, to enhance cancer care accessibility for Central Iowa residents. The collaboration will integrate the Iowa Clinic’s hematology oncology expertise with MercyOne’s existing cancer center resources.
This partnership addresses a critical need for complete, local cancer treatment options.Beginning September 15, the Iowa Clinic’s team of board-certified hematology oncology physicians will provide medical oncology services and inpatient consultations at MercyOne’s Richard Deming Cancer Center. The Iowa Clinic will also utilize space, staff, and equipment within MercyOne’s radiation and oncology center in Clive, while MercyOne continues uninterrupted radiation oncology services at that location.
