A substantial property in Dublin 6, including land and additional buildings, has been sold for close to its €7.5 million guide price following an auction, marking one of the largest residential transactions completed in the city this year.
The property, located at 48 Temple Road, occupies a 0.75-hectare site at the intersection of Temple Road and Richmond Avenue South in the Dartry area. Its location provides frontage onto the Milltown Luas station and is directly opposite Alexandra College, a prominent girls’ school. The sale was completed by the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary, who were the previous owners of the sprawling estate.
The transaction comes as Dublin property prices continue to be a focus of national attention. According to reports, the sale represents a significant value in the current market. The expansive grounds and strategic location of the property likely contributed to the high price achieved.
Elsewhere in the country, a Longford native recently launched her autobiography, titled ‘Who Knows Tomorrow’. This event, while separate from the Dublin property sale, highlights ongoing cultural activity within Ireland.
