Cristina Cordula Reveals 50-Year Hydration Habit as Key to Her Ageless Figure
paris, France – At 60 years old, television personality and stylist Cristina Cordula credits a simple yet powerful habit – drinking at least 2 liters of water daily – as foundational to her health and physique. The Franco-Brazilian star revealed the advice originated from a nutritionist she consulted at age 15, and has remained a cornerstone of her wellness routine ever since.
Cordula emphasized water’s multifaceted benefits, stating, “The most critically important nutrition tips that I have been given at 15 years old is to drink a lot of water. Water is part of my daily life, my routine. Water is really super important because it drains, it cleanses, it detox, we eliminate.” Beyond hydration, she notes water acts as a natural appetite suppressant, aids digestion, and contributes to skin radiance.
This dedication to mindful consumption began early,with Cordula proactively seeking nutritional guidance as a teenager. “I remember being surprised, as ther are many things that I was advised not to eat. I knew nothing about it. My education to eat well therefore started at my 15th birthday,” she shared. However, Cordula clarifies she doesn’t subscribe to restrictive dieting, instead prioritizing balance and a healthy relationship with food.
Currently, Cordula adheres to a Mediterranean diet – rich in grilled foods and vegetables, and light on sauces and butter – which she adopted following her initial nutritional consultation. “I have a very Mediterranean diet and it is the one that suits me best,” she explained. She also finds that prioritizing healthy eating isn’t a sacrifice, but rather a choice that makes her “feel good in my body, inside.”
