A floral-themed exhibition, “Bloom – Il linguaggio dei fiori: racconti tra materia e segno” (Bloom – The Language of Flowers: Stories Between Matter and Sign), will open at the UNAHOTELS T Hotel in Cagliari, Sardinia, on March 21st, the first day of spring. The exhibition, curated by Giorgia Bistrusso in collaboration with Tramare and TArt, aims to transform the arrival of the novel season into an immersive experience.
The project centers on a visual narrative constructed from clothing and accessories – including scarves, hats, jewelry, ties, bags, and embroidery – that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary research. The floral motif serves as both a decorative and symbolic element, unifying the diverse collection. According to organizers, “Bloom” represents a convergence of fashion, art, craftsmanship, and design.
The exhibition’s design emphasizes the interplay between objects and their surroundings. Items are not presented in isolation but interact with the space and surrounding patterns, creating contrasts that highlight their expressive power. The floral theme extends beyond the garments themselves, permeating the environment and creating a continuous visual story.
Alongside the core exhibition, “Bloom” features more scenic and sensory installations. A meadow of paper flowers is displayed on water and layered surfaces, generating light and shade. Suspended elements, such as hand-painted runners and bougainvillea, introduce verticality and lightness, guiding visitors through the exhibition, which culminates in a ceramic landscape.
Numerous artists and creatives are contributing to the project, including Marco Caboni (Velette Sospette), Patrizia Camba, Carola Ciani, Eleonora Cadoni, Jubanna, Paulina Herrera Letelier, Frankie HI-NRG, Le BonBon Vintage di Yayavera, Carolina Melis, Sandra Mureddu, Valeria Pesce, Settepuntozero (Gianluca Melis and Asel Makeeva), Su Trobasciu, Simona Tavassi, the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, Maria Cristina Boy Cualbu, and Margherita Usai of Tramare, along with Walter Usai.
A previous event, “Un tè al T” (A Tea at T), featuring accessories by Bistrusso and a new collection in collaboration with Tramare, was held at the same hotel on December 18, 2025, according to the T Hotel website. The exhibition showcased a selection of accessories and offered visitors the opportunity to personalize bags or patterns.
