ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins 48-20 on Sunday, ‌extending Miami’s losing streak to three games dating back to last‍ season. Despite entering the game as 12.5-point underdogs,the Dolphins delivered ⁤a⁢ competitive performance,but ultimately fell short.

The loss intensifies scrutiny surrounding Dolphins head⁤ coach ⁤Mike McDaniel, though team owner Stephen ross has ⁢indicated his job is secure for ⁢at least another week. Rookie running back ollie Gordon II saw increased‍ playing time, finishing with a workload comparable to starter De’Von ⁤Achane. The Dolphins rushed for a season-high 116 yards, benefiting from the combination⁤ of Gordon’s power running and achane’s speed. Gordon had four carries on the opening drive alone, surpassing his total from‍ the first two games combined.

Miami’s defense showed betterment, recording several stops after ⁤allowing points on 13 of​ 15‍ possessions to start the‍ season. Bradley Chubb continues to demonstrate strong play, recording a sack in his third consecutive game after missing all of 2024.
