7-Eleven Taiwan has launched a collaborative campaign with TWICE member Chou Tzuyu, featuring over ten new Taiwanese and Korean-inspired food and beverage items, along with collectible merchandise. The promotion began on March 18th, with limited-edition Tzuyu trading cards available with qualifying purchases.
The collaboration, dubbed “711xTzuyu,” includes a range of food options developed in partnership with the Hotel Royal in Tainan, according to reports. Menu items include a Korean-Taiwanese fried chicken bento box, spicy cream shrimp pasta, Korean kimchi pork tofu rice bowls, spicy potstickers, Korean fried pork cutlet rice rolls, clam rice balls, and pork belly buns. Desserts and baked goods such as cheese ham toast, brownie stick cakes, and melon cream buns are likewise part of the lineup.
A signature beverage, the “Honey Plum Heartbeat Smoothie,” was created specifically for Tzuyu, combining tomato and plum flavors with honey. CITY PRIMA coffee, Sluushies, and ice cream products are also available in limited-edition Tzuyu-themed packaging.
Customers purchasing designated fresh food items from March 17th receive a random Tzuyu trading card. Six different designs are available, including images of Tzuyu winking and smiling. Purchasing three select main course items offers a chance to obtain a special edition foil card, with the backs of the cards forming a complete image of Tzuyu’s signature when collected as a set.
Tzuyu filmed a promotional advertisement for the collaboration in Taiwan, and the “Xinzhongzhongxiao Store” in Taipei has been decorated to resemble the restaurant setting featured in the ad. The campaign has already generated significant interest, with some fans reselling the trading cards online, sparking debate about potential waste and profiteering.
The limited-edition cups, sleeves, and ice cream wrappers featuring Tzuyu’s image are available even as supplies last. The “Honey Plum Heartbeat Smoothie” is a seasonal offering.
