Miley Cyrus Reportedly Engaged to Maxx morando
Pop star Miley Cyrus is reportedly engaged to marry musician Maxx Morando, according to confirmations from People magazine following initial reports from Page Six. The news comes after Cyrus was seen sporting a notable diamond ring at the premiere of “Avatar: Fire and ash” in Los Angeles on Monday.
The engagement marks a new chapter for cyrus, 31, who was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth. Morando, 27, is a drummer for the band Liily and has become a significant figure in Cyrus’s life both personally and professionally.
The ring, first noticed on cyrus in mid-November by the celebrity gossip account Deux Moi, is a cushion-cut diamond set on a 14-karat yellow gold band designed by Jacquie Aiche.
Cyrus and Morando were first linked romantically in December 2021 during the taping of “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party,” with their relationship publicly confirmed by a kiss in West Hollywood in April 2022. Sources indicate the relationship began as a “blind date” that Cyrus described as “more blind” than expected.
Over the past year, the couple’s bond has deepened. An insider told People in March 2024 that they had moved in together, and Cyrus “seems more calm and harmonious.” Cyrus herself has publicly praised Morando,telling The Cut,”my man’s hot as hell … but my man also respects me.”
Morando has also collaborated with Cyrus on her music, contributing to two tracks on her 2023 album, “Endless Summer Vacation,” and working on her ninth album, “Something Beautiful.”
