WILLISTON, Fla. – A Florida farm is offering a $50,000 prize to the person who can throw a corn dog the farthest, as part of its inaugural Corn Dog Festival this Saturday, March 21st. Kirby Family Farm in Williston is hosting the event, which aims to provide family-friendly entertainment, according to reports.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m. And centers around the unusual, high-stakes corn dog throwing competition. Details regarding the rules and regulations of the contest, as well as verification procedures for the winning throw, have not been released.
Kirby Family Farm has previously hosted events, including a recent festival highlighted by FOX 35 Orlando, but this marks the first Corn Dog Festival.
