Eddie Kingston adn Ortiz have been announced as the first two participants in “YEOW! A Tribute to Jaka,” a wrestling event honoring the career of independent standout Jaka. The event will take place in Kissimmee, Florida, with further details forthcoming.
Jaka, who began his professional wrestling journey in 2007, cultivated a dedicated following through appearances with beyond Wrestling, Full Impact Pro, CHIKARA, and EVOLVE. He also wrestled on an episode of AEW Dark: Elevation in October 2021. Currently, a fundraising campaign is underway to support Jaka, having raised $29,702 toward a $45,000 goal as of November 4, 2025.
The tribute show,announced by Kathleen Cliver Echevarria on November 1,2025,aims to celebrate Jaka’s contributions to the wrestling community. Kingston and Ortiz were described by Echevarria as “two of the best in the game.” Additional talent announcements for “YEOW!” are expected.
