Spain rallied from a deficit to defeat Denmark in Davis Cup action, securing their place in ⁣the‌ final eight of the competition. Simultaneously ⁤occurring,the WTA 125K event in‌ Sao Paulo is set to conclude today with a championship match.

The Spanish team overcame a 2-0 disadvantage to win three consecutive rubbers against Denmark, ultimately prevailing in the tie. Earlier in the day,Alexander Vukic defeated Rafael Nadal 6-7,6-2,6-3,but ⁢Australia’s fortunes shifted⁢ as Alex de Minaur then dispatched‍ Zizou Bergs 6-2,7-5,leveling the tie against Belgium at 2-2. The decisive rubber is currently underway.

Elsewhere, the WTA 500 tournament in Guadalajara will feature a final ⁣between rising⁤ American Iva Jovic​ and Emiliana Arango, scheduled to begin at ⁣23:00 ⁣CET. In Sao paulo,Janice Tjen of Indonesia will face Tiantsoa Sarah Rakotomanga Rajaonah,both vying for their first title on the WTA Tour. ‌The Davis Cup continues with further matches ​determining the remaining quarterfinalists.
