Disney On Ice’s “Mickey’s Search Party” opened at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, on Wednesday, March 19th, and will continue through Sunday, March 22nd. The production then moves to the Watsco Center in Miami for performances from April 16th to April 19th, 2026.
The show features Mickey Mouse and friends as they embark on a quest to find Tinker Bell after she is targeted by Captain Hook, according to promotional materials. Performances incorporate ice skating and aerial acrobatics, with immersive sets designed to transport audiences into various Disney worlds.
Segments of the show include a journey across the Marigold Bridge with Miguel from Disney Pixar’s Coco, set within a vibrant celebration of family featuring dancing skeletons. Audiences will also be transported to Arendelle to sing along with Elsa as video projections create a crystalline landscape for her ice palace. Belle’s enchanted ballroom scene features her ascending into the air as the chandelier comes to life, and a daring rescue mission unfolds with Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and Jessie enlisting the Green Army Men.
Moana’s ocean adventure and scenes from Aladdin and The Little Mermaid are also featured. Stitch is expected to bring “mischievous surprises” throughout the performance. The production aims to deliver compelling storytelling through multi-leveled staging and dynamic moments both on the ice and in the air.
The production is currently scheduled to conclude its run at the Watsco Center on April 19th, 2026, with no immediate plans for further performances in South Florida announced as of today.
