The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer, has postponed the release of the Class 10 examination results for 2026, initially slated for March 20, according to a statement from the Rajasthan Board secretary. The board now anticipates announcing the date for the results release by Monday, March 23, with the full results expected to be available within the following week.
Approximately 10 lakh students who appeared for the examinations between February 12 and February 28 are awaiting their scores. The board has engaged nearly 35,000 teachers to evaluate the answer sheets at centralized evaluation centers, and officials confirm the process is nearing completion.
Students will be able to access their results through the official website, rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in, by entering their roll number. The IE Education portal will also host the results for convenient access.
To pass the Class 10 examinations, students must achieve a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject and in the aggregate. Students failing to meet this threshold in one or two subjects will be offered the opportunity to take supplementary examinations, with details regarding dates and procedures to be announced separately by the RBSE.
The delay in the results announcement is linked to the board’s intention to initiate the new academic session starting April 1. The RBSE is considering a proposal to conduct Class 10 board examinations twice a year, beginning in 2027, with potential sessions in February and May.
