Infinix NOTE 60 Ultra vs Pro: Specs, Price & Which to Buy?

Infinix has launched two fresh smartphones, the NOTE 60 Ultra and NOTE 60 Pro, aiming to deliver flagship-level features at mid-range prices. While sharing a similar name, the devices offer distinct differences in design, performance, camera capabilities, and battery life, targeting different consumer preferences.

The most immediately noticeable difference lies in the design aesthetic. The NOTE 60 Ultra adopts a more premium look, drawing inspiration from sports car design with a single layer of glass covering the camera module. This contrasts with the NOTE 60 Pro, which features a more conventional, slightly protruding camera setup. The Ultra also incorporates a “Floating Taillight signature” while the Pro utilizes separate RGB lighting. The NOTE 60 Ultra is slightly heavier due to its larger battery capacity.

Under the hood, the NOTE 60 Ultra boasts a more powerful processor – the Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, capable of speeds up to 3.25GHz, achieving an AnTuTu score of approximately 2 million. The NOTE 60 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, reaching speeds of up to 2.7GHz and an AnTuTu score around 1.1 million. This performance gap positions the Ultra as the superior choice for demanding gaming, multitasking, and prolonged use.

Battery capacity also differentiates the two models. The NOTE 60 Ultra features a 7,000mAh battery, while the NOTE 60 Pro has a 6,500mAh battery. Charging speeds differ as well, with the Ultra supporting 100W swift charging and 50W wireless charging, and the Pro offering 90W fast charging and 30W wireless charging. Despite the Ultra taking slightly longer to fully charge, its larger capacity provides extended usage throughout the day.

Camera capabilities represent another significant distinction. The NOTE 60 Ultra features a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultrawide lens. Its front-facing camera is 32MP and capable of recording 4K video at 60fps. The NOTE 60 Pro, in comparison, has a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 13MP front-facing camera, and records 4K video at 30fps. The Ultra is geared towards users prioritizing detailed photography, long-range zoom, and smoother video recording.

Pricing reflects these differences. The Infinix NOTE 60 Pro is available for approximately $300-$350, while the NOTE 60 Ultra costs around $750. However, both phones currently face limited availability, primarily in African and Asian markets. While older Infinix models have appeared on Amazon UK, the availability of the NOTE 60 series in other regions remains uncertain.

The choice between the two devices ultimately depends on individual needs and budget. The NOTE 60 Ultra caters to users seeking maximum performance, advanced camera features, and a premium design. The NOTE 60 Pro offers a compelling value proposition for those prioritizing a feature-rich experience at a more accessible price point.
