Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming division has launched two latest power banks in China, the Blade 2+ series, offering both 5,000mAh and 10,000mAh capacities. The devices feature a redesigned magnetic surface with a coating created through a UV excimer process, according to Xiaomi.
The smaller 5,000mAh model measures just 0.8cm thick and weighs 105g, while the larger 10,000mAh version is 1.36cm thick and weighs 175g. Both power banks support 15W wireless charging. Wired charging speeds differ, with the 5,000mAh model offering 18W and the 10,000mAh model reaching 22.5W, compatible with a 3-foot Anker 240W cable currently available for $9.99 on Amazon.
Xiaomi claims the batteries used in the Black Shark Blade 2+ series are “Apple-derived,” suggesting a focus on stable and reliable power delivery. The power banks incorporate N52 magnets for strong magnetic attachment and support multiple charging protocols.
The devices feature a modern design with power level indicators and a side button. Pressing the button once displays the remaining battery level, while a double press turns the power bank off. They are available in two color options.
In China, the 5,000mAh Black Shark Blade 2+ is priced at CNY 159 (approximately $29), and the 10,000mAh model costs CNY 189 (around $27). While Xiaomi has not confirmed a wide global rollout, previous Black Shark accessories have appeared on Amazon in the US, suggesting potential international availability. A similar 10,000mAh Black Shark Blade 2 power bank with a built-in USB-C cable is currently available for approximately $14 in China.
