Natick Adaptive Cycling: Free All Aboard Program for All Abilities

Natick, Massachusetts will once again host “All Aboard,” a program offering accessible and adaptive cycling opportunities, with the first spring event scheduled for April 18th. The initiative aims to provide individuals with mobility limitations the chance to experience the freedom of cycling. The Town of Natick is collaborating with All Out Adventures, which will provide a range of adaptive tricycles and bicycles. Trained staff will be on hand to ensure proper equipment fitting, and volunteers will be available to assist riders during the sessions. All rides will begin at the Mechanic Street lot, utilizing the Cochituate Rail Trail. Participation in the program is free, but advance registration is required for both riders and volunteers. Separate registration is necessary for each scheduled date. Funding for “All Aboard” is provided by the MetroWest Health Foundation and the MathWorks Community Grant Program, with additional support from the Friends of Natick Trails. The program previously operated in 2023, according to program materials. Individuals interested in volunteering can register through a dedicated link, although prospective riders can sign up for specific dates via provided registration links. The program’s return follows a recent announcement highlighting its accessibility features, as reported by Natick Report.
