lobos’ Late Rally Not Enough in Loss to San José State
SAN JOSÉ, CA – A furious second-half comeback by the University of New Mexico Lobos fell just short Saturday, as they lost to the San José State Spartans 31-24. Despite a late touchdown and two-point conversion, and a subsequent field goal, the Lobos were unable to overcome an early deficit and contain the Spartans’ offensive momentum.
