This shift in power comes as players finalize their preparations for the season-ending ATP Finals in Turin, Italy, and underscores Sinner’s dominant form, notably on indoor surfaces were he now boasts a 26-match winning streak. For Auger-Aliassime, the loss dashed his hopes of securing the final qualifying spot for the ATP Finals.
Sinner demonstrated clinical precision throughout the match, overcoming a steadfast Auger-Aliassime. The Italian secured the first set 6-4 and then prevailed in a tight second set tiebreak, 7-4.
