MERIP Announces Editorial Team Transition, Honors Founding Editor Joe Stork
Washington, D.C. – October 22, 2025 – The Middle East Research and Information Project (MERIP) today announced changes within its editorial team, acknowledging the departure of several long-serving members who have stepped back from their duties over the past year. The institution simultaneously announced an upcoming event to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the passing of co-founder and longtime editor Joe Stork.
These transitions follow years of dedicated service from individuals integral to MERIP’s production process. While the organization did not name the departing team members, Executive Director James Ryan expressed gratitude for their contributions and wished them well.
