“Zlatan said he hated three or four players, and he was one of them.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic did not get along with Edinson Cavani during his time at Paris Saint-Germain. That reveals Frenchman Michaël Ciani, a former teammate of the Swede at Los Angeles Galaxy.

“I know Laurent Blanc and I know Zlatan. I asked him about his relationships with the players and the coach at PSG,” said Ciani, former player of Sporting Portugal, Lazio and Bordeaux, among others, at RMC Sport. “He told me everything was fine. The only person he couldn’t stand was Edinson Cavani. He said he hated three or four teammates during his career, and Cavani was one of them.”

Cavani and Zlatan played together at Paris Saint-Germain between 2013 and 2016. In January 2018, Cavani replaced Ibrahimovic as the all-time top scorer for the French club. Leeds United is said to have spoken to both players last winter about a surprising transfer to the Championship club, but the chance seems small that Zlatan wants to play with Cavani again in one team.
