The President, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Prime Minister and the Head of the President’s Office laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance of those who died for Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday, August 29, honored the memory of those who fell for the country on the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, according to the press service of the head of state.

“On the Day of Remembrance of the defenders of Ukraine who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy laid flowers at the Wall of memory of those who fell for our state, located on Trekhsvyatitelskaya Street in Kiev,” the statement said.

It is noted that the head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal also took part in the ceremony in memory of the dead defenders.
