Zelensky discussed with the head of the European Commission the preparation of the Ukraine-EU summit

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. About it informs Zelensky’s press service on Tuesday, September 21.
“We discussed preparations for the Ukraine-European Union summit on October 12. We emphasized the importance of a strategic dialogue on the EU’s energy security,” it was reported.
Zelensky also thanked von der Leyen for the EU’s participation in the Crimean Platform summit at the highest level and for the allocation of a tranche of macroeconomic assistance.
Recall that earlier Zelensky voiced expectations from the UN General Assembly… The Ukrainian president will take part in the opening of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, speak at it and hold a number of meetings on its sidelines.
