He thanked US President Joe Biden for announcing a new military aid package for Ukraine.
“I am especially grateful today to the United States and Biden personally for the new support package for Ukraine announced today, which includes very powerful NASAMS systems – an anti-aircraft missile system that will significantly strengthen our air defense. We have worked hard for such a supply.”
The President noted that Ukraine is also negotiating other new weapons from partners and is doing everything to break the advantage of the occupiers.
Recall On July 1, the United States announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 820 million dollars. It includes two NASAMS air defense systems and HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
Note that the President of the United States Joe Biden promised to provide Ukraine with new weapons after the NATO summit in Madrid.
