Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted on Wednesday that the Ukrainian army is in a very difficult situation in Donbas, in the area of ​​the cities of Lisichansk, Avdeevka, Artemovsk (Bakhmut), BGNES reports.

“Also in Donbass, Lisichansk, Avdeevka, the municipalities in the direction of Bakhmut – the situation there remains very difficult and very difficult,” Zelensky said in a video message on Telegram.

The Ukrainian president said that the country’s authorities are doing everything possible to obtain modern artillery systems from Western allies to “properly respond” to the advance of the troops of the separatist Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), operating with the support of the Russian armed forces .The first Russian special forces fighters entered Lisichansk, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said on Wednesday, noting that the city “will soon be liberated from the Ukrainian occupiers”.
