Meat Leaf (or translated: meatloaf) is of course not the real name of the artist. The Grammy winner was born Marvin Lee Aday. He scored a classic in the late 1970s with “Paradise by the dashboard light”, an uptempo rock duet with Ellen Foley.
It didn’t stop with that one hit, later followed “You took the words right out of my mouth (hot Summer night)” uit 1977 en “I’d do anything for love (but I won’t do that)” uit 1993.
