Christopher Cavoli and Mark Milley assured Zaluzhny of continued US support for further military assistance to Ukraine.
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny in conversation with two US generals, he said the situation at the front was tense, but completely controlled.
According to Zaluzhny on the social network Facebook, he had two telephone conversations with the Supreme Commander of NATO Allied Forces in Europe and the Commander of the US Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli and the President of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley.
“Once again he thanked for the support of the United States in the struggle for the independence of the Ukrainian people. He also informed about the operational situation. He noted that the situation is tense, but completely controllable,” said Zaluzhny.
“General Cavoli and General Milli, in turn, praised the actions of the Ukrainian armed forces and assured the continued support of the United States in further providing military assistance to Ukraine,” Zaluzhny added.
