GERB will not delay the process if the parties do not reach a consensus on the first mandate to form a cabinet, Ekaterina Zaharieva told NOVA.
According to her, however, the Bulgarian people say that for the next elections a way must be found for a coalition cabinet.
“We will not say that we do not want this to be prime minister and those who are ministers. Let’s start the talks first, which we believe to be the most important for Bulgaria right now,” he added.
Regarding the Eurozone negotiations, Zaharieva said: “At least” Yes, Bulgaria “and the DPS are very clearly” for “this. I have doubts about” continuing the change “as everything they have done in financial policy has us taken away from the Eurozone “, explained the politician.
During the interviews it will be clarified whether the people in a possible cabinet will be experts. “It will be a political cabinet. After being supported by the parties in parliament, it is a political cabinet,” Zaharieva said.
It is still unclear whether Boyko Borisov’s party will help out for the second and third term. “We think it is important to have a government. The Bulgarian people expect this of us. However, we have won the elections – and let’s see what happens with the first term,” he also said.
