In September, a violent brawl broke out in front of the Jean-Baptiste Poquelin high school causing a beating for a teenager and five police custody for the camp opposite, from Achères.

That day, a student from the establishment gauges a group of young people from the Bel-Air district in the middle of the afternoon. In response, they beat him before fleeing. Ten minutes later, in a nearby street, one of the young people from Bel-Air is caught by a group of teenagers from Achères. The young man was beaten with kicks, punches and street furniture.

Seized, the police immediately investigate. CCTV images reveal scenes of great violence. We see one of the boys jumping with both feet on the victim’s head. The officials manage to stop the attackers in the RER shortly after. During their hearings, the teens will reveal that this affair was tied up against a background of a previous fight between the two districts, which occurred during the summer.
