Yvelines: serious accident on the A13, two men taken to hospital


The accident occurred at kilometer 44 of the Normandy motorway, at 9:50 a.m. this Sunday morning. At Porcheville (Yvelines), two vehicles collided for a reason still unknown. In the shock, four people were injured, including two 27-year-old men who were more seriously affected and who had to be quickly taken care of by the emergency services.

Both suffering from multiple fractures, they were transported in maximum emergency by the Samu, one to the Mignot hospital in Chesnay (Yvelines), and the other to the Beaujon hospital in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine ).

No impact on traffic

Fluid for a Sunday, at this time of day, traffic has not experienced any significant disruptions.

The day before, the firefighters had already intervened on this same A13 motorway, but for a very different fact since motorists had alerted them around 3 p.m. because of a fire in the open fields. Four hectares of stubble went up in smoke at the height of the ramp to the A13, in the town of Freneuse (Yvelines). The fire, which quickly spread due to the wind, mobilized around thirty firefighters to be finally brought under control around 6 p.m.
