What happened on January 15 last, around 18, in Beaugrenelle (Paris), shocked France: a small group of boys has beaten a 15enne, leaving him on the ground with “the skull open in several places”. A very violent attack on which investigators are trying to shed light: Yuriy, this is the victim’s name, was he in the wrong place at the wrong time or was it a war between rival gangs? The hypotheses of the investigators
His violent lynching, therefore, may have been organized by a gang of young people from Vanves (all subjects not yet identified) who allegedly took revenge for a previous clash with the Beaugrenelle gang, in particular with the gang nicknamed “RD4”. At the moment, however, there are no arrests: the police could close the circle in the coming days. Among other things, the hypothesis is being studied that Yuriy may belong to Beaugrenelle’s group and that, precisely because of this, he would have been beaten. So he wouldn’t have ended up in the attackers’ crosshairs by accident. Far from it. At the moment, however, it is a matter of hypothesis: there is no clear and well-defined motive for the beating.

Meanwhile, the 15year is better: slowly awakening. For the doctors “the hardest part is over” even if at the moment he has not yet recovered the use of the word. He has already undergone an eye operation and his awakening “was very complicated”.
