MOUNTAIN VIEW, iNews.id – Good news for users YouTube Non-premium music. Reportedly the company will be releasing one of their premium features for all users to use for free.
YouTube announced that starting November 3, users will be able to play songs in the background so that the music won’t stop when opening other applications or when the screen is turned off.
Quoted from The Verge, Sunday (10/10/2021), the release of this new feature is available for the first time in Canada. It is possible that YouTube will expand this feature to other regions.
Confirmed the presence of this feature in other countries, YouTube simply replied, “Please wait for further information and expansion plans from us.”
Playing songs in the background is a feature that many YouTube Music competitors have provided, including Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and others. So about this feature, YouTube can be called lagging behind other applications.
