Young Opel driver caught in Bad Sobernheim with drugs in his blood

BAD SOBERNHEIM – (red). The police caught a young man who was driving a car on drugs. The officers stopped the Opel driver on Friday afternoon around 5 p.m. on the west bypass near Bad Sobernheim to carry out a regular traffic check.

The officers found certain abnormalities in the man that indicated drug use. When the police confronted the 19-year-old with the suspicion, he vehemently denied having consumed drugs. In a preliminary test, however, residues of both “soft” and “hard” drugs were found in the man’s urine.

The young man was not allowed to continue his journey and a blood test was ordered. This was taken at Kirner Hospital. The Opel driver must expect the driver’s license to be withdrawn and a heavy fine.
