The New York Police Department opened a criminal investigation to clarify if it was an accident or if there was third party responsibility in the death of the 24-year-old girl.
A 24-year-old named Cameron Perrelli died after falling from a seventh floor after attempting a feat while intoxicated.
As reported by El Diario de Nueva York, the events occurred in the early hours of Saturday during a party held on the roof of a building on Avenue A in Manhattan, New York, United States.
At around 3:30 am, the young woman had the idea of jumping from building 200 to 202 to reach the other roof, however, due to her alcoholic condition, she lost her balance and fell into the void.
The New York Police Department tried to take the young woman to a medical facility, but the severity of the injuries did not allow her to survive.
Given this, and although the only version that is known is that he fell by accident, the police have opened a criminal investigation to determine if third parties were involved in the event.
For his part, the victim’s father described her as a good young woman; “He was an angel,” he told local media without understanding how the events had occurred.

For this reason, and according to the same medium, the councilor of the city of New York, Carlina Rivera, promoted a bill that will seek to study and regulate the use of rooftops for parties and celebrations, something that will oblige city councils and administrators of buildings that guarantee the safety of people in the event of carrying out activities of this type.
