You have an iPhone or iPad, update as quickly as possible, your data is compromised

Apple released a new update on Tuesday for its iOS 14 and asks its users to download it as soon as possible. The Cupertino company explains that there are vulnerabilities in the old version and hackers could seize your data.

3 major flaws would have been discovered in the previous version of Apple’s operating service. The company believes they may have been ‘actively exploited’ by hackers.

If Apple is still renowned for the security of its devices, it does happen that certain vulnerabilities appear. The first two flaws are in the webkit, an open source search engine used in particular by Safari. The third flaw is in Kernel, an operating system framework. These flaws were discovered by ‘an anonymous researcher’, says Apple. The company has certainly been warned by a White Hats hacker, who infiltrates certain software to improve security.

The firm will not give further details of possible attacks ‘until an investigation has taken place’, explains Business Insider.
