You can enjoy free electricity tokens for September 2020, here’s how

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Electrical stimulus in the form of free tokens for Household customers with a power of 450 VA, subsidized 900 VA, and Social and Small Businesses of 450 VA for the period September 2020 it can be claimed.

PT PLN (Persero) ensures that there is no change in method or scheme to claim the stimulus.

Therefore, PLN Executive Vice President for Corporate Communication and CSR Agung Murdifi is optimistic that the disbursement of the stimulus which has been going on since last March will run smoothly.

“The September stimulus can be enjoyed, because this program is an extension, PLN is optimistic that it will not experience problems, both in terms of preparation time and technical implementation,” he said in a written statement, Wednesday (2/9/2020).

Agung reminded again, the amount of tokens given was 100 percent the highest average number of customer usage between January and March 2020 for 450 VA power customers and 50 percent for subsidized 900 VA power customers.

The way to claim free tokens through the website is as follows.

  1. Open www. PLN.co.id then select the Covid-19 Stimulus menu ( Free Tokens/Discount).
  2. Enter Customer ID or Meter Number.
  3. Free Tokens will be displayed on the screen.
  4. Customers just need to enter the Free Token into the meter in accordance with the Customer ID.

In addition, recipients of the stimulus can also use the WhatsApp service to obtain electricity token in the following way.

  1. Open the WhatsApp application.
  2. Chat WhatsApp to 08122-123-123, follow the instructions, one of which is to enter the Customer ID.
  3. Free tokens will appear
  4. Customers only need to enter the free token into the meter in accordance with the Customer ID.

Meanwhile, to reach customers in remote areas, PLN will also work with government officials at the District, Village and Sub-district level to ensure that electricity assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic is acceptable to the public.

Customers can also visit PLN service offices spread across Indonesia or through Contact Center 123 for more information.

“We will continue to ensure that this electricity stimulus can be accepted by the community, so that it can ease the burden in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Agung.
