– Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol took the lead in both Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myeong and Lee Nak-yeon, together with Democratic Party representatives, in a poll on the premise of a one-on-one structure for the presidential election.

This is the result of a survey of 1009 people across the country on the 16th and 17th at the request of the Asian economy by an opinion poll company, Winge Korea Consulting (±3.1% points from the 95% confidence level of the sample error).

– According to the results announced on the 19th, in a virtual confrontation between President Yoon and CEO Lee, President Yoon received 46.8% of the support and defeated Lee, who was only 39.0%, by a 7.8 percentage point difference. In the bilateral confrontation survey in November last year, President Yoon was almost tied at 42.5% and CEO Lee at 42.3%.

In the virtual confrontation between President Yoon and Governor Lee, President Yoon was 45.1%, 3 percentage points ahead of Governor Lee of 42.1%. It is thin ice within the sample error. In November of last year, Governor Lee slightly surpassed President Yoon, who was 42.6% at 41.9%.

– President Yoon received high support from Seoul, Daejeon/Sejong/Chungcheong, Daegu/Gyeongbuk, Busan/Ulsan/Gyeongnam, and Gangwon/Jeju.

In a poll targeting the third party Democrats, except Governor Lee and CEO Lee, Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun received the most support at 17.0%. Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae (12.1%), former presidential secretary chief Lim Jong-seok (7.4%), former lawmaker Kim Bu-gyeom (6.4%, Rep. Lee Gwang-jae (2.3%), and Unification Minister Lee In-young (2.0%).

As for the leading opposition presidential election runners, Yoon took the first place with 32%, followed by Congressman Hong Jun-pyo (10.7%), former lawmaker Seung-min Yoo (7.2%), and Jeju Governor Won Hee-ryong (4.5%).

Party support was 30.7% of the Democratic Party, which was 3.1 percentage points higher than the power of the people (27.6%). The gap in approval rating, which reached 9.9 percentage points in November last year, has narrowed to the level of error. Following the National Assembly Party (7.6%), the Open Democratic Party (7.4%), and the Justice Party (6.2%).

Responses saying that they do not support President Moon Jae-in’s performance of his duties increased from 47.3% to 50.4% in November last year, more than half.
