Food and Drug Administration, Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine approval for infants

The first COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer for infants can be used in Korea.

The Ministry of Food and Pharmaceutical Safety announced today (25) that it has approved the imported article “Cominati” of the early Corona 19 virus vaccine required by Korea Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.

This vaccine is for the prevention of COVID-19 in children aged 6 months to 4 years and is given in 3 doses of 0.2 ml each.

The vaccine is currently in use with conditional authorization and emergency use approval in the European Union and the United States.
