“SK, LG 10 years in battery development without trade secret”
In the case of the infringement of trade secrets between LG Energy Solutions and SK Innovation, the ITC of the US International Trade Commission found that SK clearly infringed 22 of LG’s trade secrets.
ITC today (5th) unveiled a final statement of opinion containing this judgment.
ITC also explained that SK decided to ban imports from the United States for 10 years as it would take 10 years to develop its own products without infringement of trade secrets.
Regarding the decision to lose early on SK Innovation, he explained that “SK’s act of destroying evidence was judged to be at a serious level, and this was done company-wide under the direction of a high level.”
