Issued a yellow code for forecasted snowfall for Sunday in 9 regions of the country. This is reported by NIMH.
The code is valid for areas Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Vratsa, Kyustendil, Lovech, Montana, Pernik, Sofia city and Sofia region.
During the day from the west increasing cloudiness will continue and after noon it will be mostly cloudy across the country.
It will blow weakly, in eastern Bulgaria – a moderate northeasterly wind. Cold air will invade with it, temperatures at 2pm will be between 4 and 9 degrees.
Monday evening and overnight in the high fields and in the low mountain areas it will snow. In some places, a thin snow cover will form.
The atmospheric pressure is higher than the average for the month, it will begin to decrease in the evening.
