Year in prison for stabbing after traffic quarrel in Osdorp

A 31-year-old man who stabbed another man in the face with a box cutter after a traffic quarrel in Osdorp in March last year has been sentenced by the court to a 12-month prison sentence, six of which is conditional.

The victim was annoyed by the driving behavior of the 31-year-old, which led to several confrontations. In such a confrontation, the perpetrator grabbed a box cutter. He then waved at the victim’s face several times. The knife swinger invoked emergency weather excess, but the judge did not agree.

In addition to the prison sentence, he must pay the victim compensation of 4900 euros. He must also follow a program to learn to control his aggression.
