“The authorities did not invent anything new, but copied the scenario of the political reprisal against Viktor Yanukovych from the Obolonsky District Court. Engaged tame judges, non-admission of the Client to participation in meetings, a previously prepared court decision, disregard of the right to defense. But such performances will not be able to be implemented in the European court, for the transfer of the case to which we have today no longer had the last obstacle. The ECHR, unlike the Ukrainian justice system, will not be able to turn a blind eye to the obvious violations of the right to defense committed by the authorities and the court in this process, ”Serdyuk said.
