Valentino Rossi again received appreciation after retiring at the end of MotoGP. Yamaha MotoGP officials call Rossi the most beautiful gift.
MotoGP 2021 marks the end of Rossi’s long career in the world of grand prix motorcycle racing, which stretched until 1996 when the Doctor began to act in the 125cc class.
In his long career, Valentino Rossi has won nine world titles, including seven of them in the 500cc/MotoGP premier class.
Rossi’s best actions in the grand prix motorcycle racing world championship were among others inscribed on a Yamaha motorcycle. In this regard, Takahiro Sumi, Yamaha’s project leader in MotoGP, gave appreciation.
“A Yamaha rider, an award for the paddock and the whole world,” Sumi told Mr-bike.jp who reported motorcyclesports.net.
“When he has a brilliant race, the atmosphere on the circuit changes, like at the Red Bull Ring. When he finished third in the wet, the atmosphere in the stands changed dramatically. That sort of thing has been around for a long time and I said to myself, ‘ this guy is fantastic’. I’m glad he finished the ultimate race with us.”
“For everyone who has worked with him, the opportunity to work with Valentino and help this legendary rider has brought joy and pride. What can I say… everyone wants to reach out to help him, that’s his strength… he is full of charisma ,” he said.
