This is one of the last released solid state drives designed specifically for the PS5 storage upgrade. Even at its suggested retail price, it’s by far the cheapest PS5-compatible SSD with an integrated heatsink. It’s even less expensive than most compatible SSDs without heat sink. Considering that a third-party heatsink costs between $15-20, that’s no insignificant savings. The S70 Blade offers transfer speeds of up to 7400 MB/s and a PCIe Gen4 interface. The built-in heat sink is made of aluminum for effective heat transfer, but you’ll have to install it on the SSD itself. Fortunately, it is very simple.
