This was stated by the Co-founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun. He said this when he answered Chinese Xiaomi fans when they asked for continuation Xiaomi 12 Ultra.

The sensor is claimed to be able to capture more light, focus faster, and better dynamic range. Although the resolution is not yet known, rumors say that this camera is 50MP with 1.15µm pixels.
