Since a few days rumored the return of the Redmi Note 8 with a current hardware overhaul and now Xiaomi, surprisingly, has confirmed it. The Redmi Note 8 2021 will arrive this year, and it will do so to celebrate 25 million units sold of the original model.
Xiaomi revealed in a tweet that the Redmi Note 8 is one of its most popular smartphones in all its history (something already known, but now confirmed), achieving the milestone of more than 25 million units sold worldwide. In the same publication, he confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 2021 will arrive soon, in celebration of this great achievement.

Unfortunately Xiaomi does not share more details of this launch, only mentioning that it will reveal more information very soon. However, leaks say what The Redmi Note 8 2021 will arrive with a new chipset, the MediaTek Helio G85, released last year and that in fact gives life to the Redmi Note 9. We wait for the official and complete reveal of the new Redmi Note 8 2021.
The original Redmi Note 8 was presented in 2019 with a 6.3-inch FullHD + screen and notch drop, Snapdragon 665 chipset, 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, and four cameras of 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 megapixels.
