Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Xiaomi has announced the presence of a new Smart TV for the Indonesian market. Chinese company launched Xiaomi TV A2 Series which comes with two screen sizes, namely 43 inches UHD (4K) and 55 inches UHD (4K).
Through this new product, Xiaomi at the same time confirms its increasingly serious commitment to working on the TV market in Indonesia. But not only, both of them have also supported the ability to capture digital TV broadcasts which have now started in Indonesia.
“Both of these TVs already support DVB-T2 which supports digital TV broadcast. This is in line with the government’s program to switch to digital TV broadcasting this year,” said Product Marketing Manager of Xiaomi Indonesia, Calvin Nobel during the session hands-on with the media, Friday (8/7/2022).
According to Calvin, digital TV broadcasts offer a better viewing experience. This is because the signal captured by the TV is already in digital form, so the captured content can be clearer and clearer.
Different from analog TV broadcasts which still use radio or wave transmission. Therefore, when the signal reception is not good, the analog TV usually appears ripples.
In addition, with the more intensive socialization of digital TV, Calvin estimates that the demand for TV products that support digital TV broadcasting will also increase. For this reason, it is hoped that the various products offered by Xiaomi can answer consumer needs.
To note, the Xiaomi TV A2 Series itself comes with a bezel-less design, a slim unibody metal frame, and is supported by a single stand, thus making it able to look premium.
This Xiaomi TV also offers an immersive viewing experience due to Ultra HD 4K Premium support plus Dolby Vision. Calvin said, this product is also Xiaomi’s first 43-inch TV that supports 4K quality.
Meanwhile, from the audio side, Xiaomi has equipped this TV with Dolby Audio. Comes with running Android TVusers of this TV access a wide range of content from their favorite apps, such as Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube.
Not only that, this TV is also equipped with Chromecast for streaming needs from other devices, such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops. Regarding the price, the 43-inch Xiaomi TV A2 is priced at Rp. 3,999,000, while Xiaomi TV A2 55 inches sold for Rp. 5,999,000.
Xiaomi carries out exclusive sales of the 43-inch A2 on Shopee from 7 to 14 July 2022. Then, for sales on other platforms, both will begin to be offered on 14 July 2022.
