Xiaomi speaks of its first wireless charging solution with a power of 40W. In a video, the company shows that an unnamed smartphone with a capacity of 4000 mAh could be charged in 40 minutes from 0 to 100 percent. Charging from 0 to 57 percent is said to be completed in twenty minutes.

The manufacturer does not specify when it will add support for wireless charging with 40W to smartphones and which models are the first to be considered. The Xiaomi Mi 30 Pro and the Mi 9 Pro 5G already support wireless charging with 30W; Company presented this fast-loading technique in September last year.
