Xiaomi Poco M3 with 6000mAh battery and Snapdragon 662-soc costs 149 euros – Tablets and phones – News

Xiaomi will release the Poco M3 budget smartphone on December 3. The Android device will have a 6.5 “screen with an FHD + resolution, a 6000mAh battery and 4GB ram. A version with 64GB flash storage costs 149 euros and a 128GB variant for 169 euros.

Xiaomi provides the Poco M3 with the Snapdragon 662-soc that Qualcomm released at the beginning of this year. The 6.53 “screen has a drop-shaped notch for the front camera and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The rear has three cameras, the primary camera uses a relatively large 1/2” sensor with a 48-megapixel resolution. Furthermore, it is a macro and depth camera, both with a small 2-megapixel sensor. The camera island on the back also includes a large Poco logo.

The 6000mAh battery supports 18W fast charging and the phone also supports USB-C reverse charging. Xiaomi supplies a 22.5W charger with the device, but not the full charging capacity is used when charging. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the side of the case.

Two versions of the Poco M3 will be released, with 64GB and 128GB UFS 2.1 flash storage. Both feature 4GB Lpddr4x memory. Xiaomi will sell the new budget phones through its own website, also in the Netherlands.

The Poco M3 is this year’s third Poco phone and positioned among the ones released in September Little X3 NFC. That 229 euro device has, among other things, a faster soc, more ram, a 120Hz screen and NFC. Earlier, the more expensive appeared Poco F2 Pro.
