Xiaomi has announced its second Mi Watch and it is the first model that will also be released in the Benelux. The watch has its own operating system, round OLED screen and should last a few weeks on a single battery charge.
The Mi Watch has a 1.39 “OLED screen with a resolution of 454×454 pixels, which according to the manufacturer has a maximum brightness of 450 candelas per square meter. The case is 46x53mm in size and 11.8mm thick, with a weight of 32g. The watch has a 420mAh battery, which allows users to do up to sixteen days on standby.
The watch contains a heart rate monitor, gyroscope, compass, air pressure monitor, light sensor and GPS for keeping data. The watch has a 5ATM water resistance and 117 modes for different workouts. Also on the housing is a button that users can press to start measuring workouts. The watch has a proprietary operating system from Xiaomi, which the manufacturer says nothing about.
Xiaomi does not yet know when the watch will be released in the Benelux, but it will come. When released, it will cost 99 euros. Last year’s Mi Watch was a square model and never released in Europe.
