According to rumors, the Snapdragon 875 chip will receive eight cores in a “1 + 3 + 4” configuration. The most powerful will be the “super-core” Cortex-X1. The product will include the Adreno 660 graphics accelerator and the Snapdragon X60 5G modem with a data transfer rate of up to 7.5 Gbps towards the subscriber.

Globally, the first Snapdragon 875 devices are likely to be Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series devices. But the first Chinese smartphone with this processor, according to the authoritative source Digital Chat Station, will be the Xiaomi Mi 11.

Moreover, it is argued that Xiaomi Mi 11 will have the status of an exclusive device from the Middle Kingdom with the flagship Snapdragon 875 chip for some time. However, this period is unlikely to last more than a month.

We add that it is the Snapdragon 875 processor that will become the “heart” of many high-end smartphones that will appear on the commercial market next year.
